The operator of this website treats your personal data confidentially and in accordance with the data protection legislation and this Privacy Notice. By visiting mooredenim.com and subdomains, you are accepting and consenting to the practices described in this Privacy Notice.

To protect the security of your information during transmission, each transmitted information is encrypted by SSL software. An encrypted connection is displayed in modern browsers in the address bar beginning with "https://" and a lock symbol. Hence, your transmitted data remains confidential and can't be read along by third parties.

Please note that security gaps may occur during data transfer in the internet (eg. when communicating by e-mail). Complete protection of data against unauthorized access by third parties is not possible.

Matomo

This website uses the open source web analytics service Matomo (previously: Piwik). Matomo also uses cookies, which allows an analysis of your use of this website so that we can improve our offer accordingly. It will be saved eg. the number of visitors, from where visitors came to this page and which pages are visited .

For this purpose the information generated about your use of this website is stored on our server. Your IP address is anonymised before storage. The generated information about the usage of this website will not be passed on to third parties.

If you do not agree to the storage and use of your data by Matomo, you can

  • either disable cookies completely (in this case the functionality of this site will be limited),
  • enable the "do-not-track" function of your browser, so that your visit to these pages is ignored by Matomo, or
  • disable the storage and use with the following link. In this case, an opt-out cookie is stored by your browser that prevents Matomo from collecting user data. If you delete your cookies, the Matomo opt-out cookie will be deleted, too. The opt-out must be enabled again when you revisit our pages.

Server log files

The provider of the pages automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser transmits automatically. These are:

  • browser type/browser version
  • used operating system
  • referrer URL
  • host name of accessing computer
  • time of server request

This data cannot be assigned to specific individuals. A compilation of this data with other data sources will not be made. We reserve the right to examine this data retrospectively when we get to know concrete evidence of unlawful use.

Collection and use of personal information

When you send us a request (eg via contact form, e-mail or telephone), your data will be stored for the purpose of processing the request and in the case of follow-up questions.

During the order process, private data of you will be requested and stored (name, date of birth, adress and contact details, and, if applicable, company, VAT-ID, measurements). This customer data is stored and used for the order and shipping process. Therefore, required data will be transmitted to PayPal, if you choose that payment method, and to shipping service providers (including your e-mail address, if delivery announcement by carrier is available).

Purchased products are sometimes combined with similar information from other customers and displayed in a non-personally identifiable form in features such as buy recommendations.

You can to order in the shop without creating an account. The so-called guest account will be deleted automatically after a successful order or if you log off. The guest account will remain, if the check-out will be interrupted eg by closing the browser window. We delete guest accounts manually usually within 48 hours.

If you create a customer account, your personal information will be used additionally for the following:

  • for your identification and authentication,
  • so that you can track the processing progress of your order in your account,
  • your order history,
  • to recommend products that might interest you, and
  • for the evaluation system.

Information, suspension or deletion of personal data

You always have the right for free information about your stored personal data, its origin and destination and the purpose of the data processing and the right to correction, suspension or deletion of this data with future effect.

Registered customers may delete their customer account and the therin saved data at "Your account", too.
