1. Data security

I take the protection of your personal data seriously. All personal information is handled confidentially and in accordance with the legal data protection regulations (GDPR).

• Encryption: To protect your data, this website uses SSL encryption (recognisable by "https://" and the lock symbol in your browser).
• Security notice: Despite highest technical standards, data transmission on the internet may involve security gaps; complete protection against access by third parties is technically not possible.

2. Cookies

This website uses cookies to make the shop more user‑friendly, effective and secure.

• Session cookies store, for example, the progress of the checkout process. They are deleted automatically after your visit.
• Persistent cookies remain stored on your device until they expire or you delete them. These cookies store, for example, your cookie preferences, login details, language settings or the contents of your shopping basket.

You can manage cookies at any time via the cookie banner or disable them in your browser. If cookies are disabled, the functionality of the shop may be limited.

3. Analytics tool

If you have given consent in the cookie settings, the following service may be used:

3.1 Matomo | Web analytics

I use Matomo to analyse the usage of the shop in an anonymised form in order to improve my services. Data such as visitor numbers, the origin of visitors and viewed pages may be recorded. No data is passed on to third parties.

No personal data is stored. Your IP address is processed exclusively in anonymised form, ensuring that no personal reference is possible.

You may deactivate Matomo at any time via the cookie settings or by enabling your browser’s "Do Not Track" function.

4. Server log files

Your browser automatically transmits information that is stored in server log files:

• browser type/browser version
• operating system used
• referrer URL
• host name of the accessing computer
• time of the server request

This data cannot be assigned to specific individuals. A combination of this data with other data sources does not take place. I reserve the right to check this data retrospectively if concrete indications of unlawful use become known.

Data storage period: six weeks

5. Collection, use and storage period of personal data

Requests

If you send me a request (e.g. via the contact form, e‑mail or telephone), your details will be stored for the purpose of processing the request and for any follow‑up questions.

Data storage period: up to two years after completion of the request.

Orders

During the order process, personal data (name, address and contact details, and, if applicable, company and VAT ID) is collected and stored. This data is used for processing your order and dispatch. Required data may be transmitted to PayPal (if selected as payment method) and to shipping service providers (including your e‑mail address if delivery notifications are available).

When using the "PayPal Express" function your personal data is imported from your PayPal account. You may edit this data before completing your order.

Data storage period: ten years in accordance with statutory tax and commercial retention obligations.

Review requests after purchase

After completing an order, I may use your contact details (e.g. e‑mail address) to send you a one‑time request to review the purchased product or the ordering process. This helps improve my services and customer satisfaction. Processing is based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest). You may object at any time, for example via the contact details in the imprint or via the unsubscribe link in the review request.

Buying recommendations

Purchased products are combined with similar information from other customers and displayed in a non‑personally identifiable form in features such as buying recommendations.

Guest account

You may order without creating an account. The guest account is deleted automatically after a successful order or when logging out.

Customer account

If you create a customer account, your personal data will also be used for the following purposes:

• your identification and authentication,
• tracking the processing status of your order,
• your order history,
• product recommendations,
• the review system.

Data storage period: until deleted by the customer or until a deletion request is submitted. Inactive accounts are deleted after three years; a reminder e‑mail is sent beforehand.

6. Information, restriction or deletion of personal data

You have the right to request free information about your stored personal data, its origin, recipients and the purpose of processing, as well as the right to correction, restriction or deletion of this data with effect for the future.

Registered customers may also delete their customer account and the data stored therein under "Your account".

Unless specific retention periods are stated in this privacy notice, personal data is stored only for as long as necessary to fulfil the respective purpose or as long as statutory retention obligations apply.
